    EM type starters for medium voltage ring motors

    STATORICS

    They consist in to use the perfectly studied electrolytes property that decrease its resistance as it increases its temperature by thermoelectric effect: this variation occurs in a small inter electrode chamber.

    Resistance is connected in series with the motor windings, causing a voltage drop, reducing the starting torque and also reducing the line intensity.

    As the motor speed going up will produce an automatic reduction in resistance value, thereby gradually increasing the voltage at the motor terminals providing smooth acceleration without torque shock or current spikes.

    At the start’s end a timer drives an shortcut contactor that eliminates the resistance in the circuit.

    The starting torque is adjustable depending on the electrolyte concentration (higher concentration, lower resistance and more torque) determined according to the type of machine washed or limit in the starting current

    FIXED ELECTRODE.

    The passage of the rotor initial current through the electrolyte immediately produces a partial vaporization with an instant adjustment of the resistance and the start torque to optimal values.

    TEMIC SCP., is a specialized company in starter systems using liquid resistance for medium and high power induction electric motors.

    Company created in 1982, however this very specialized activity came from the evolution, development and research conducted in other related companies that with the passage of time led to the union of human and technical elements, which with the trust of our customers gave way to the creation of this extraordinarily specialized company in the starter of electric motors and derived applications.
